The Texan aunties and uncle come to visit

Stephanie, Clayton, and Molly came to visit last weekend. We went to the zoo, which was fun but really really hot. We had grand plans to go first thing the morning, but life with baby means everything takes forever. I had failed to plan ahead and pack up the stroller and diaper bag the night before. That, coupled with getting everyone fed, caffeinated, and getting all the bottles and coolers together to store the bottles meant, that we didn't actually get to the zoo until noon. Mid July in Dallas at noon is about as hot as it comes and it put a bit of a damper on the outing. [In retrospect the Dallas zoo might not have been the wisest choice.] But it was an adventure and we all enjoyed each others company. Later on Saturday, the Williams sibs went to see the new Batman movie, while Molly and I stayed home, gossiped, snacked, and took care of the baby. On Sunday we had breakfast at Luckys, our favorite local breakfast spot. It was short but very sweet. Lillian wishes very much that she got to spend more time with her aunties and uncles.
