Lillian had a wonderful birthday party today, lots of family and good friends. We had an inordinate amount of food which we will probably be eating for another month. A big thanks to Mama Teen, Molly, Peepaw, Poppa, Clayton, and Mim for all the wonderful help. There is no way the party would have happened at all, let alone be a success without a virtual army working hard yesterday and today to pull everything together. In retrospect, I may have gone a bit overboard for Lillian’s first birthday but it was a lot of fun to have a party. We are so touched that Aunt Molly and Uncle Clayton and all the grandparents made the long trip to come share the day with us.
